【Indications】

Entecavir is indicated for the treatment of chronic adult hepatitis B with active viral replication, persistently elevated serum alanine aminotransferase ALT or active lesions on liver histology (including patients with compensated and decompensated liver disease); also suitable for the treatment of nucleoside-naïve children aged 2 to <18 years with chronic HBV infection and compensated liver disease, with evidence of active viral replication and persistently elevated serum ALT levels or Histological evidence of moderate to high inflammation and/or fibrosis.

[Usage and Dosage]

Patients should take entecavir under the guidance of an experienced doctor. It is recommended to rinse the dosing scoop daily after oral solution administration.

Entecavir should be taken on an empty stomach (at least 2 hours before or after a meal).

Adult dosage:

Oral entecavir oral solution, once a day, 10ml (0.5mg) each time. Patients who develop viremia or develop lamivudine-resistant mutations during lamivudine treatment are given 20 ml (1 mg) once daily.

Patients with decompensated liver disease, once a day, 20ml (1mg) each time.

Children's Dosage:

Patients weighing 32.6kg or more should take 10ml (0.5mg) of oral solution per day, and patients weighing more than 10kg and less than 32.6kg should use oral solution.
